Powerlifting Club At Macclesfield Performance

Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three lifts; the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
We invite you to join Macclesfield Performance’ Powerlifting Club lead by MP coach and owner of Titan Performance Joe to enjoy regular coaching and programming in Powerlifting.

What can I expect from Powerlifting Club?

Powerlifting club is designed to help develop those with an interest in the sport and to guide them through a structured training routine that will ensure their continual progression and success.

Your coach Joe will help you improve in powerlifting, working on technique and conditioning you properly to lift. You can even use Powerlifting club to help you prepare for competition.

Comprehensive and progressive, all year round programming and regular club nights for coaching in addition to in house friendly’s and socials are all part of the club experience .

Technical coaching is paramount and your Powerlifting club coach offers you all you need to help you progress within the sport whether you wish to compete or choose to enjoy it recreationally.

Do I need to have tried Powerlifting before to join the club?

Our club is designed for anyone with an interest in bettering their Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift and therefore so long as you hold a basic understanding of these 3 lifts the club is suitable for you.

What you get…

  • Your "Gym Only" membership (usually £27.00 per month)

  • Access to the club app which will hold all your programmes, coaching videos and documents.

  • Direct contact with your club coach via the app messaging service.

  • 1 x club session per week, where you can train with the advice and technical guidance of your coach whilst following your programming.

  • Invitation to participate in socials, events and in-house competitions.

How do I join the Powerlifting Club?

All club membership payments are taken in 2 parts - one part goes to the gym, the other to the coach.

Total club membership cost: £57.00 per month.

Step 1

Join Macclesfield Performance as a member via the “training club membership” tab on our booking system choosing your club of choice.

If you are already a gym member simply contact us to let us know and we can skip this step for you.

Step 2

Once your subscription payment has been received for the Macclesfield Performance aspect of your club membership you will receive a unique booking code for that membership to use when booking in appointments of any kind and you can immediately start accessing the gym as a member.

Your information will then be passed on to the club coach and you will be invited to pay the second part of your monthly payment via a separate payment link directly to them.

Step 3

Once you have completed step 2, you will receive a message from your coach and you will be invited to join their team so you can start receiving programming.

+ Am I tied in to club membership?

*** No, we do not operate tie-ins or contacts for our members at Macclesfield Performance. You will receive access to the monthly coaching and programming so long as both of your club payments each month are fulfilled. Should you allow your payment to your coach to lapse and your Macclesfield Performance payment to continue, it will be assumed that you have decided to suspend coaching but wish to continue to use the facilities to train. We do however ask that where possible you inform your coach if you intend to stop to ensure they can help you in whatever way to make cancelling easiest for you.

+ How do I cancel?

*** When you sign up you will recieve a confirmation email. Keep this to hand as this email has a cancelation button that you can click at any time to cancel.

+ Can I join the Powerlifting Club as a beginner?

*** Yes you can join as a begininer. Powerlifting club can teach you all you need to learn about powerlifting.

+ Do I have to compete?

*** Not at all. This club is for learning and enjoying an exciting and varied style of training that is great for your overall health, strength and mobility. This club is predomiently aimed to ensure you know what you are doing when you go to the gym and you get the great results you are after.
